המנון פלאו
פלאו שלנו (בפלאואנית: Belau rekid) הוא ההמנון הלאומי של פלאו. מנגינתו אומצה רשמית ב-1981 והולחנה על ידי ימסיי או. אזקיאל, ומילותיו נכתבו על ידי כמה מחברים.

היסטוריה
המנון פלאו הולחן על ידי ימסיי או. אזקיאל (9 בינואר 1921 – 20 במאי 1984), מלחין, מוזיקאי ומורה למוזיקה, בתקופת המעבר מטריטוריית הנאמנות של איי האוקיינוס השקט לרפובליקה של פלאו תחת טריטוריית הנאמנות. ועדה בראשות חבר בית הנבחרים של פלאו דמי אוטובד הוקמה במטרה לאמץ המנון לאומי למדינה בהתאם לחוקה. חברים נוספים בוועדה היו, חוץ מאוטובד ואזקיאל, ההיסטוריונים והמוזיקאים ריוסנג סלבדור, קבקול אלפונסו והרמנה אומטרו. חברי הוועדה כתבו ביחד את מילות ההמנון. ההמנון אומץ רשמית ב-1 בינואר 1981, כאשר חוקת פלאו נכנסה לתוקף.[1][2]
